Countdown to Spring Training: 30 Quotes in 30 Days — Boston Red Sox

In anticipation of the coming Cactus and Grapefruit league games and fun, MLB Memories is glad to offer our own little “countdown.” We are going to follow the plan of “30 Quotes in 30 Days,” and each day between now and February 19 list a quote from someone affiliated with each MLB team. As best as we are able, we are going to take the quotes from current roster players (of course, trades can still happen) or front office personnel, and hopefully find bits of information that will help us to see each teams viewpoint going into the coming championship season.

Due to a total lack of creativity on this front, we will hear from the thirty teams according to alphabetical order. Today’s team for a quote: Boston Red Sox

“It’s a beautiful country. It made me appreciate everything that we have here. They love their baseball. The fans were loud, and [they were] in the game, every pitch. It was [like] the seventh game of the World Series. It was a good experience that unfortunately ended too quickly.”
